What I Bought Last Week : Try on Haul

This is what I bought last week and mentioned during my try on haul on IG stories last Monday.

I’m going to try to mix these up each week and include a mixture of item {think home items, kids stuff and beauty}. But this week, I wanted to include links with everything that I shared on IG stories, so it would be easy for you to find and shop if ‘Swipe Up’ isn’t your thing!

TIE DYE PEPLUM TEE – I had to try the trend! Easy cozy tees that are on trend and the epitome of easy dressing. My style tends to lean into more of a preppy vibe, so I wasn’t sure about this trend when I first realized it was making a come back. But now seeing it on everything from iPhone cases to men’s clothing, I would go ahead and recommend embracing this one. See my post on Trying the Trend for under $50 HERE. Size down in the tee. I am returning my Small for an XS, a size I very rarely wear or purchase. 

SMOCKED PUFF SLEEVE TOP – the feminity of this blouse could not be resisted. I didn’t realized that I purchased all three colors, but boy am I glad I did. I ended up returning the light blue and floral, but only because I loved the black one the best. All three colors are two thumbs up, but I know that I will wear the black the most. Size as normal. I got and am keeping a Small. 

ANINE BING LION TEE – this tee has been on my wish list since it first popped up on nearly every blogger on Instagram. I have resisted for a full year, so I finally gave in. Size down. I am keeping a Small because I like the oversized, but I would get the same feel if I got an XS. Again, a size I rarely buy or order.

OVERSIZED SLOUCHY BLAZER – a navy blazer is pretty much my spirit animal, but I was disappointed with the fit and fabric on this one. There is nothing wrong with it, yet this double breasted blazer is just so much better, especially for the price and quality. On the slouchy blazer, size down. I was swimming in an XS. In the double breasted blazer, size up. I got and kept a Medium. 

ANINE BING TEE – I couldn’t decide which one I liked better, even though on an IG stories poll, you much preferred the lion face tee but I find myself leaning towards this one. Size down. I am keeping a Small but I feel that it might lean on the size of being too oversized. An XS would be perfect. 

GOLDEN GOOSE SILVER GLITTER SNEAKERS – these have been on my mind since I first spotted them! I stalk multiple websites daily to see if my size is getting marked down. Size normal. I got a 37 and normally wear a 7. 

NATIVE KIDS SNEAKERS – since I first bought these for my kids, they have been a staple. The price and available colors are great and I get them in multiple sizes every few months. Hashtag, growing kiddos. Size as normal.

HOT PINK LACES – I’m leaning into the neon trend! This $6 investment to spruce up my Golden Goose is an A+ effort in me attempting to avoid getting the pair that I am drooling over. The hot pink doesn’t quite go with my pair, but I thought would be fun in my navy Superga sneakers {currently on sale for under $50!} or my white converse.
