Truth be told, I’ve been trying to get this post up for weeks. Like, since the end of August. Between all the emotions of our endless summer actually ending with both of my kids going back to school, in person, and we’ve started a new school for our first born and all the sudden, I’m like, “who is in charge here?” I guess it’s me. But life is weird, with or without a pandemic. So basically I’m using the tried and true “2020 sucks/ its Covid!” excuse for being so far behind on blog posts and just this job in general.
I do have some great blog posts idea, all in drafts, so many fun things I want to share, that I haven’t yet and edited photos that I haven’t uploaded to the LIKEtoKNOW.it app, yet… Again, 2020 is weird.
Either way, here are the August 2020 Best Sellers. If there is some exact item that I could find it elsewhere, or something so similar that I might even like better, I included it. 1 – LOOKER JEANS
These might have to be my best purchase of 2020. Scratch that. #2 best purchase of 2020, behind my number 1 bitch, the Peloton. These jeans not only feel like leggings and are beyond soft, but they might be the most flattering jeans, like ever. They are a bit pricey, but I’ve seen them on multiple body types and they look great on everyone. Since I am a jeans girl, always my go to with a cute top, I find it important to spend money on the items that make you feel good. 2 – 9” BLACK JEANS
My #1 Best Seller from the Nordstrom Sale, this pair of jeans is a great mix between jeans and work pants. I don’t know your current work situation, but this a great pair of jeans if you need your jeans to do overtime. Think from meetings to happy hour.
From last year’s Nordstrom Sale, the gray version of this blazer was my favorite NSale purchase and by far, one of the most worn items from 2019. I wore it over lace camisoles, Target tank tops and cashmere sweaters. To me, a blazer is timeless and versatile. I truly wore it to Kindergarten interviews and to too many glasses of champagne with friends. This exact blazer was high on my list of items I wanted to get this from the Nordstrom Sale this year, but by the time I got access, it was sold out. It is back in stock, and I linked a couple similar ones below. The Shopbop sale should be coming soon, so I will be sure to share similar looks to this one on sale when it begins.
4 – LONG SLEEVE TWIST FRONT WORKOUT TOP
This is an amazing $22 purchase. As I shared on the LIKEtoKNOW.it app and my IG stories, I recently got the tank version. Size up, I got a M in both so that the crop top doesn’t show belly.
5 – RAG & BONE JEANS
This same style of jeans was my first designer jeans purchase after having the kids and the first time I was ever, in my life, in a certain size. As I shared in my Nordstrom Sale try on in my Instagram Stories, these jeans were great and super flattering, I just didn’t need them. {and loved these ones infinity more.} Buy the jeans that make you feel good.
