I love that y’all love this image and body suit so much. I am literally counting down the days until the San Diego weather cooperates so that I can wear these high waist jeans again {yep. it has been too hot, even for jeans!}. This body suit is available only in limited sizing, but I found a similar black ruffle bodysuit here and more below.
Yes, my caption was a little silly, but then a couple of you commented that you did think that I did in fact look naked! Nope, just wearing one of the three bikini that have more than paid for themselves because I have worn them so much this summer. So much so, that I bought this one and this one at the end of the summer, because, my philosophy is, if you are going to be half naked in public, or in my case, on the Internet, you should feel good and like your bikini!
This photo was from our first full day in Nantucket. We had no plans, didn’t know where to go and I had yet posted enough about where we were to start receiving the countless recommendations that y’all were so gracious to send me. We slept in, went for a run, where I stopped every 10 feet to take pictures and then when on the hunt for a lunch spot.
When I spotted this home on our walk, I stopped, gasped out loud and reversed to get another look. Hello, dream house! While I loved Nantucket and being there with my family, I love love loved all the interaction that I had from you gals! I knew that most of my readers are southern or East coasters, but I loved how much interaction I had with you via emails, DMs and comments while back East.
This day, our swim lesson got unexpectedly postponed, so we had a little time to kill at our local playground. While the kids were all about the playground when I asked if that is where they wanted to go while we waited, once we got there, Leo began to climb, naturally, and Madrid stayed close to me for snuggles, after stealing my sun hat. I snapped this super cute photo of her and made sure to link some summer favorites on the LIKEtoKNOW.it app.
