I said I wouldn’t be doing this…but as you saw on my Instagram stories, I went to shop the sale in persons on Wednesday, with my minis in tow and got some great things. I’ve broken it down by category so you can easily shop.

What I Was Looking Forward To Buying

Neon Sweater

I really was just going for this chunky neon sweater. I spotted it in the catalogue and had myself convinced it was going to be 100% cashmere and from Vince, or another higher end brand. So imagine my delight that it was $45! I was told that it also comes in oatmeal, so this was one of the items that I will be ordering online.  SIZING HELP: this brand has misleading sizing, but go with your normal size in the US measurement. I got a 4/6

Button Fly Jeans

I don’t need more jeans, but because I would describe myself as a “jeans” girl {I wear them 9 days out of 10 when I actually put real clothes on and not just athlesiure}. YET, I love this brand, I love getting things on sale and I love the color of this wash. It isn’t dark, but not the 90s influenced light washes that are everywhere  right now. I thought it would be the perfect jean for, well, really everything! SIZING HELP: They run LARGE. I tried on a 26, which is normally on the smaller end of what I really am, and I was swimming in them. Size down. I will be ordering a 25 or 24. Which I have never been, ever, nor will ever be.

Arcona Toner Pads

These were an impulse purchase at this exact sale on year when I was either pregnant or breastfeeding and dealing with melasma. They are safe and smell beyyyyyooooond! I have since fallen in love with this brand and stock up on these toner pads every year. They come in a two pack, so basically, you are getting one for free!

What I Left With

Pointy Toe Loafers

I didn’t even try these on in store, I just purchased them straight away. Pointy toe flats are a timeless love of mine. That and blazers, I can alway justify.

Lace Camisole

I love the look of a lace camisole under a blazer or an open front cardigan and you will see it again and agains. I got Black and White in a S.

Got this in a US 2, so size down. Not even on sale, but under $80 and I love it so!

Ankle Boot Cut Jeans

I really got talked into them. I was convinced the place they hit me on the ankle was all wrong. But after I gave them back to the saleslady, I was looking through photos I took on my phone and loved he way they looked. So I went and added them to my pile. Run TTS, I got a 27, but might order a 26, once my wino vacation bloat dies down…

Chelsea Boots

I love the taupe color, thinking it is the perfect neutral. I have a neutral bootie, but I feel that the heel is too high for chasing cuties around all day, so I love this flat style, named after my second favorite neighborhood in London.

I’ve never meet a navy sweater I didn’t love. But make it oversized and an open front cardigan, and I am 100% in. I thought this would be so cute, yet so cozy with the white lace cami I also bought. Size down. I got an XS, but almost got an XXS.

Neon Chunky Sweater

One of the 3 reasons I was shopping the sale in the first place! I ran into a friend and convinced her to buy it too! I got a US 4/6. Run true to size {TTS}.

What I Left Behind

Red and White Check Blazer – Obsessed with the fit and style but don’t really like the color red. It feels too Christmas-y or USC-y to me.

Oversized Plaid Blazer – I felt that the fit was just too oversized. {but now, looking at it, it seems very Meghan Markle to me, so add this to the “What I Ordered Online section.}

Frame Jeans – I thought the distressed knee was too much, especially when the rest of the jeans are plain. I also loved these ones too much and didn’t want to be getting 3 pairs of jeans at this sale…

Moto Leggings – 1. I didn’t love the color I tried on and 2. I have ordered these hundreds of times and have never been all that excited to wear them. The fabric is a little too thick for my liking and the length a bit too long for me. I will be ordered them in mint to give them one more go, but they didn’t have my size in store.

Colorblock cardigan – Soooo great in theory, but I put it on and didn’t love it, have to have it, so I left it behind.

I went to the sale in hopes to get it in neon purple. Success. But when I was told it also came in oatmeal, I knew that it would be the first thing I ordered.

I missed out on all the “good” colors last year, so I am making up for it. I have a light blue from last year and got

I spotted this when we were heading to the register, but didn’t spot my size and I didn’t want to hassle my children anymore as they were angles in the dressing room, despite the lady next door yelling for the “mom with kids to leave!”

Button Fly Jeans

They didn’t have my size in store. Make sure to size down, they run large. {Buy a smaller size than you would normally.}
