The best sellers from last month! I really like this month’s selection of best sellers from what I share on here, instagram and LIKEtoKNOW.it: I feel like the selections kind of cover everything. There is the blazer I won’t shut up about, the leggings I see on someone every single day, the only sweater you need to add to your closet this fall, a Meghan Markle favorite and a gorgeous robe.
Check out Best Seller posts from past months
The way that I pull together these posts is by seeing and monitoring what items that I have shared on social media gets the most click and purchases. I then rank them in order and share them with you in these posts at the beginning of the month. Sometimes, I am surprised. Like, that so many of you are buying jean shorts in fall. But I celebrate you! {and they really are the best. and the only shorts that I wore all summer. Not kidding. I’m getting rid of every single one of my other shorts because they didn’t see the light of that constant San Diego summer sun.} Sometimes, I’m not surprised. Like, that so many of you bought the only blazer you need. I have it in so many colors, it is embarrassing at this point. Either way, below are September’s Top 7 Best Sellers and my personal reviews.
Formation Camo Leggings || Sweater Jacket || Puff Sleeve Sweatshirt || Denim Shorts || Double Breasted Blazer || Oversized Mock Turtleneck || Bathrobe
Formation Camo Leggings
I really don’t need anything. But I really don’t need more workout clothes. I tend to always reach for this pair of high waisted navy leggings and have been meaning to clean out my legging drawer. {that’s how many I have: they have their own drawer…}
But I was shopping one day and spotted {pun, intended} these printed leggings and had to try them on. The fabric of the Align ones were too soft. As I haven’t bought a pair of Lulu leggings since having kids {like I said, I always reach for these} I tried them on. While the fabric was soft, yes, I almost felt naked, like I forgot to put on underwear. When I asked the salesperson about them, she said they are incredibly popular, but due to the thinness of the fabric, they really are only intended for lounging and “light yoga.” Any other workouts, she recommended the Wunder Under leggings, in the same print.
Done. Deal.
Align: Meant for lounging. Any other activity and the fabric will not hold up long term.
Wunder Under: Stronger fabric meant for stronger workouts. Fabric will hold up over time and has more of a comprehension feeling that holds you in.
Sweater Jacket
When Meghan Markle was spotted in this sweater jacket, I couldn’t order it quickly enough. {see me in it in pink HERE.} Funny thing is, my pink one hasn’t been getting much wear, so I recently sold it, only to get it ASAP once Meghan Markle wore it.
I did a review on the longer version vs. the shorter jacket, size and fit on my Instagram Stories, saved to my profile under ”Fall Fashion.” The longer one, actually worn by Meghan, has no collar and is a sleeker look. I decided to keep the shorter one for a couple of reasons: it is more structured and I feel that it fits into my San Diego life more than a longer jacket would. Both are gorgeous and I have linked the sweaters here that I think would be so chic to create a monochromatic look.
Puff Sleeve Sweatshirt
Such a fun and easy way to look pulled together with this puff sleeve sweatshirt. The sweatshirt is misleading since it is quite thin, but you won’t want to layer to cover up that adorable shoulder detailing.
ahhhh! I just checked the link and it is sold out. So I have linked a punch of this same look for you here.
Denim Shorts
I have talked a lot on here about my body insecurities and one of the big ones for me is wearing shorts. Yet, in these, I am confident and comfortable. These are the only shorts I wore all summer and the only ones I can confidently recommend to y’all. I have gotten rid of every single other pair of shorts in my closet.
Double Breasted Blazer
Ok…I know you’ve heard me talk about this blazer a bunch, especially since it was on sale last week, BUT it really is that good. Even not on sale {only $88}, it truly is one of the best fashion finds, especially when the same look in a designer style is $2,000+.
I ordered a couple new colors last week and am excited to do a try on, when they come next week. But I already own black, white and a tweed, which, honestly, doesn’t even get an 1/8 of the wear as the other two.
I really cannot recommend this blazer enough. It is classic and so versatile. I constantly wear it with my favorite lace cami.
Oversized Mock Turtleneck
While I looooove a cashmere sweater moment, I also live for an oversized sweater. It is really hard to find ones that 1. won’t break the bank and 2. have great fabric. This has both. I can’t wait to pair it with faux leather leggings. And how divine is that color?!? {get the BEST sweater shaver, ever ever HERE,}
Bathrobe
I posted a video of me in my bathrobe that I got on a girls’ trip to India with my mom and her friends back in 2013. {hi, pre kids life!}. I dug the depths of the internet to find you the exact one, with no such luck, but did find a bunch of similar ones here. This printed pink one was such a hit, that it was the 7th best seller of the month!
