The Shake Library

If you’ve been reading my weekly Workout Wednesday posts, then I have an OrangeTheory, and general cardio, addiction. And as a mom on the go, and one who needs to get up at 5am 3-5 times a week to feed my workout cravings, I am always looking for ways to get protein back into my system, the easier the better. While, yes, I would love time to make a veggie packed egg white scramble most mornings, I rarely have time. That I why I am so excited to have been introduced to the Shake Library.

They are a no fuss, Whey Protein Shake company, made for on the go, no mess and people who love getting their protein, but might get anxious committing to an entire tub of protein mix. The easy, pre-mixed protein bottles can be ordered in a pack of 6 or more, choosing from their 9 flavors {so far, my favorite is Whipped Cream Dream}.  Add water, or the liquid of your choice at your convenience, to make a great pre or post workout treat with 25 grams of protein and about 130 calories. Most flavors are sweetened with only stevia, so I was thankful for a box of these at the end of Lent, where I gave up sugar, but my sweet tooth was still in full effect. If you find a flavor that you want to commit to, they even having mini tubs available or you can keep ordering the single serving protein shakes, like I will be doing, since they are so easy.

Weekly Workout Schedule

Saturday:

4.25 mile run pushing the double stroller.

Phewph! It has been a minute since I have pushed both cuties in the running stroller. Since, all together, I was pushing about 115 lbs, this was a hell of a workout. {if you follow along on IG stories, you see that we took a little playground break. We ran there, played and I stretched, then ran home.}

Sunday:

OrangeTheory

Very thankful for in-laws that live and town and offer to take the littles after church so I can go sweat when the husband is traveling! This was my first time back since I went with my bestie last week and I was trying to keep up and I injured myself. 

Monday:

back at it with OrangeTheory at 6am!

Tuesday:

Sweat App: FIERCE beginner week 3:Total Body.

I went over using this app last week, but I am loving that this program, Fierce, does total body everyday. That was I don’t blast my legs one day, and then the next, with my lucky, it would be leg day in OrangeTheory too and I wouldn’t be able to move.

Back to Back OrangeTheory classes

While, yes, I know this sounds crazy…hear me out. There is a 4:30am Friday class that I signed up for weeks ago, that I found out wouldn’t work with my schedule, so I simply decided to make my own. My bestie met me for the first one and I stay for 45 minutes of the second, giving myself time to stretch and get home to my kids and husband. 

Friday:

Off.

I needed it after yesterday, almost 2 hour, workout.

Saturday:
