1.COOLA MINERAL MATTE SUNSCREEN – matte tint and SPF 30. I love the feeling of this, both on my skin and on my hands when I am applying it. Immediately after I wash my face, I apply this SUNSCREEN and then, if I have time to apply makeup and use this Coola, I feel super covered for sun damage. I use THIS SPONGE that was just too far away {downstairs} when I recorded my IG story, which is saved to my Instagram Profile, btdubs.
2. PIXI BY PETRA PAT AWAY CONCEALER – wearing in Nude. I love this for under eye and on the side of my face to cover my melasma, using THIS SPONGE. And, obviously, for pimple coverage. Something about the weird shape of the applicator makes me happy and happy to use it. Use THIS BRUSH to use the concealer and the under eye brightener for under eye. Use THIS SPONGE for the concealer for the face.
3. STROKE OF LIGHT UNDER EYE CONCEALER – if I have any more time than just mascara, I always use this. I was recommended to buy Luminous 2 for my skin tone, but much prefer Luminous 1, which is a light pink, which tends to coordinate with my base eyeshadow.
4. Use THIS BRUSH to dap and blend the concealer with the under eye brighter. This will still be a pretty thick layer. You should look like a Kardashian at this point….but I got you. Don’t worry…
5. Use these MAKEUP SPONGES, to start at the outer corner of your eye to blend. Blend and dap twice the surface area that you are truly trying to cover. What I mean by this is that you won’t just be focusing on the dark circles, but more of entire area around your eye so it is blended. What you are trying to avoid is having the perfect lightened under eye circles and then the rest of your face looks tired. Dapping and blending will avoid any reverse raccoon look.
6.BRILLIANT EYE BRIGHTENER – I kind of don’t know what I did without this in my life. It is described as the ‘I got 9 hours of sleep last night’ secret weapon. I love in the corner of eye, when I am wearing more makeup/ have time, I line my lower lashes. If this scares you {it shouldn’t}, try it just for the corner of your eye. If you prefer no makeup, this alone and some mascara will be more than enough for a day look for you. I got Stella, but kind of want to try the Aurora, the rose gold shimmer, as rose and copper tones bring out blue eyes.
7. KATHERINE COSMETICS EYELINER – when she was developing this liner, she wanted a lip liner/ lip stick brush on the end due to the size and ease of the brush to blend this eyeliner. And now, I use it all the time. Perfect for a more statement eye or night look. During the day, I don’t use the brush to blend. For day time, I don’t get on the water line and have just been doing a light line on the bottom, under the lashes. The brown is perfect for day time, and I love navy for anytime.
8.LIQUID LAST EXTENSION MASCARA – LIFE. CHANGING. People tend to get hung up on their mascara choices, so I have personally purchased this for some best friends and my mom so they can see what I am so obsessed over. The trick {shown on my IG stories} is to do {on the top lashes}, a layer from the top down {moving from your eyebrow is {top} to your chin {down}}, coating the top layer of your top lashes. Then go up, like one normally applies mascara. If you don’t do the “top” layer first, this mascara doesn’t look the same. Think about it almost like you have to fully coat both sides of the lashes to get the full effect.
9.KATHERINE COSMETICS HIGHLIGHTER IN SIENNA – use with this BRUSH for your cheek bone. Also love a dap of this highlighter on the inner corner of my eyes and the top of my cupid bow on my top lip.
10.MINERAL FUSION BRONZER – got this one at Sprouts, but love this MEGHAN MARKLE APPROVED BRONZER too. If you like contouring {I don’t} do a line on your cheek below your cheek bone, under your jaw line and on either side of your forehead. If you prefer low maintence, just focus on your cheek. I also love to share that an easy blush/cheek look it to simply use your most loved blush/bronzer brush on your face with no product on it. It will be a minimalist look and you are taking advantage of the product that is already on your brush, if you don’t wash them weekly {I don’t}.
11.MAC BLUSH in DAINTY – use this on the apples of your cheeks or mix with your favorite bronzer for the perfect color.
12.LAURA MERCIER SECRET BRIGHTENING POWDER – use it over this UNDER EYE BRIGHTENER to further brighten and to set.
13. GLOSSIER HIGHLIGHTER – perfect for a starter highlighter. Do a half moon shape on the top of your cheek bone, then blend by dapping with your finger.
14.GLOSSIER BROW BOY – LIFE. Changing. The #1 brow product in magazine reviews, all the time.
15. BURT’S BEES – if you don’t have these scattered throughout your home and handbags, you need to. They magically turn any lip liner in your perfect shade {like I always recommend with #17} and ton down any lipstick shade.
16. LIP LINER in “Edge to Edge” – my go-to lip liner. This works with all my favorite shades of lipstick, on its own with chapstick and from preschool drop off to black tie. The perfect perfect perfect color.
