This is the first time that I can remember that I am not nursing or pregnant for Easter brunch. {read: bring on the mimosas!} Easter is always a special time for my family. My mom grew up in Palm Springs, so every year since I was born, we would head out to the desert to celebrate Easter. Growing up in a Church going family, and now having one of my own, it was always a little strange to me to have the holiest of days, away from our home church. Nevertheless, we get to continue the tradition of a Palm Springs Easter with my little ones.
As you saw on IG stories, they are all ready with their monogram options. As it has been a growing trend lately, when planning something, I let out a premature sigh of relief that all is taken care of…to quickly realize that I forgot to take care of me! So, yes, I have quickly ordered a couple of these {#3, #5 and I am in love with #10…of course…the most expensive one!} for the upcoming Easter weekend.
Now I just have to hold back my urge to beat up all the “big” kids that try to steal my little kids eggs. Any other moms have this problem during Easter egg hunts? Nope? Just me…?
