As I’ve shared countless times, this is my favorite sale and the one I save and wait for all year. Maybe because I love the brands that are included, maybe it is because my favorite and most worn items in my closet have been from this sale. While this list might not be all that exciting, it is the true edit of my favorite shopbop sale purchases from years past.
Anine Bing Tee
Yes, $100 for a graphic tee is too much for a graphic tee. But I am all about having items in your closet that make you feel good. Maybe it is because I got mine at a fraction of the cost {I got one for under $50 once!} or that they are a step away from my normal preppy dressing. Regardless, these tees make me feel good and are always something I reach for when I have “nothing” to wear. Pair with jeans or shorts for easy dressing, or layer under a cardigan or blazer.
Straw Hat
This is something you’ve seen me share countless times, especially in summer. The price point is so good, you don’t need the sale, but why not get it for a fraction of the cost? It comes in a couple of colors, but I love the classic straw with the black grosgrain. This is permanently attached to my head in the summer and I use it, hard. It gets wet constantly and I think I even went under water in it once. Just this year, I finally got a replacement from one I bought 3 years ago. The price and the quality are amazing.
Varina Flat
I shared this in my Instagram Stories, but I find these shoes to be classic and something I wanted for years. They were my first purchase from this sale when I began to share sales on here, my blog. While it is fun to get trendy new items, I love this sale because it always includes splurge worthy pieces that you won’t find on sale anywhere or any time else.
White Loafers
These I share all the time! Such a fun classic. I’ve worn them with cashmere in the winter and with summer dresses in the warmer months. I am getting a replacement pair this year, as I do wear them constantly. Also, been eyeing this college professor loafer!
LoveShackFancy
Another brand that you won’t ever find on sale and if you do, it sells out immediately. I feel in love with this brand last summer, but found the price points a little high. So I used this sale to get this perfect sundress last summer and wore it enough for me to justify paying full spring. It is a fun, flirty style, cut enough for day, but in black, works for night. Size up! A medium is still a micro mini on me, and I’m not that tall!
Jeans
Jeans are a fundamental part of my style. I wear them constantly. Not sure if it is the San Diego vibe, the horse girl I grew up as, or the mom life, but I’m in jeans a lot! This sale is a great time to get designer jeans on sale. For example, Mother Denim is a dream {and a splurge!}. Use this chance to get jeans you like on sale. My favorite brands that I’ve purchased from this sale in years past are Mother Denim, multiple styles or Agolde, the Sophie jeans.
Double Breasted Blazer
Another amazing sale find that has such an amazing price point, you don’t need the sale! But again, why not?!? I have this blazer in multiple colors and again, wear it year around. Think over cashmere in cooler months and over a cami or t-shirt in warmer months. The white is super fun, but I probably wear black the most, even though I also have navy!
