I’m sharing this to 1. keep myself accountable 2. to not get in a slump 3. to stay motivated because I’m sharing and 4. to give you some ideas on how to get your sweat on during this time! Just because you favorite workout classes are currently closed, you can still move your body and feel great! I’m also sharing on IG stories and have them all saved to ‘Home Workout’ highlights saved to my IG profile.
Sunday:
4 mile walk
While walking I did 25 of each of the following: 1 round and then a break, then 2 rounds back to back, as I shared on my IG stories today. All of these are saved to my Instagram profile story highlights under “Home Workouts.”
-Goal Post x 25
Start with your arms out to the side, with a 90 degree bend in each elbow, like you are a cactus. Keeping the elbows at armpit height, bring the wrists and hands down to be parallel with the earth. This is one rep. Complete all 25 without letting the elbows drop.
-Arm Raises x25
Start in the same position at above, pushing arms straight over head.
-Elbows Touch x25
Start in the caucus stance from the first move, but bring elbows to touch in front of your face.
-Arm Circles x25 each direction {forward circles, backward circles}

Wednesday:
5.25 mile run outdoors

Walk for 30 minutes on the treadmill while I got back to emails on my phone.
Friday:
30 minutes outdoor walk at 6:30am on my schedule, this is a running day. Yet, from all the outdoor running {I normally go to OrangeTheory 3-8 times a week}, my knees and feet are hurting. Concrete and asphalt doesn’t have nearly as much give as a treadmill. My husband and I switch days of who works out first. This splits up breakfast duty and was what we did before quarantine. A little something of our normal day to day that we are attempting to implement during this time!
Home for breakfast and morning catch up with the fam. Then some homework for the kiddos and upstairs to our in home gym.
5k {3.1 miles} on the treadmill. I get bored running on the treadmill. {Hi! Who doesn’t?!} So I switched up my speed every 60 seconds. I started at 6.2mph and added until 7.2mph. Then did 6.2 for a minute and then back to 6.6mph, adding every 60 seconds until 7.2 again. Something to trick my mind and not get bored!
50 daily burps I did them with pushups yesterday, so I did them with a jump at the top and no pushup.
