How basic can I be when I say, “What a week!” and “Is it the weekend yet?”???
This last month has been among the most difficult in my life, with a family health scare and dealing with a current health issue of my own, I am very excited to put this week behind us! AND Meghan and Harry’s big sit down with our own Queen, Oprah, is airing this Sunday. While, I do love Mondays, already hoping for the weekend to be over before it has technically begun is a new new for me!
These Friday Five posts tend to cover really anything and everything that I am thinking about or shopping for that week. While I would say my life focuses, intentional or not, is family and working out, I try to include something to tick off those boxes each week. Yet, I want to make them more of a resource and a fun weekend read. I am truly really trying to stick to a posting schedule, but if 2021 has already taught me anything, anything can happen.

Friday Five
1 – MEGHAN, HARRY & OPRAH – I find myself already straddling the fence between shocked and seeing this coming. Every time a new teaser is aired, all under 30 seconds, mind you, this interview that hasn’t even aired yet makes front page news for the sound bites. Everyone needs to chill. Let’s all watch and reconvene on Monday.
I wasn’t news conscious enough when all the Diana stuff was happening to know if people were out to tear her down too. Since she is no longer with us, she tends to be painted in a post life positive light. People are going to hate on Meghan no matter what she does. But I do like that the narrative that Meg, Harry and their team is putting forth so far, is that leaving was 1,000% Harry’s decision.
People make the choices that they do in life. While I am an aglophile through and through and recognize the Queen as my head of state {only slightly joking}, I can not imagine what that life has been like. And all everyone has ever wanted was for Harry to be happy. No matter what you think of them, their choices or her, everyone deserves to be happy.
2 – BLUE NATASHA DRESS – I bought this dress in Black last year and it was a purchase that I didn’t regret. I normally stay away from price point like this one, except for shoes and bags. But I fell in love! Now with this perfect blue shade, it is high on my wish list. Size up! I got a M because the S was soooo short. Sizing are selling out, so I linked all the places I could find it.
3 – PLASTIC BINS – Since we are already back at March…again, I have restarted all my organizing from last year. A couple of weeks ago, I attacked that random cabinet in the kitchen that was quickly taken over for the kids crafts and art supplies. Below, I linked what I purchased to organize the space.
4 – THE MOST FLATTERING ONE PIECE SWIM SUIT – while I want to dedicate an entire blog post to swim, if you are on the hunt now, I had to share this. It takes me a lot to feel comfortable in a swim suit. Like, much more than the average person. So when I demanded my husband take multiple photos of me in the months that I’ve had this, and post it to the internet, then you know its good. Below are linked the three styles that I have, but I have to say that this ruffle polka dot one piece is my favorite.
5 – GOLDEN GOOSE – the hunt, in shopping, is all part of the fun for me! Golden Goose sneakers are always fun for me to search for, as their are endless styles and colors always being released, and in limited quantities. When a reader reaches out looking for something in a certain color, price or size, I immediately get to work. I have linked a couple of posts to the LIKEtoKNOW.it app by size, for easy hunting. But I will link them here so you don’t need the app. If you have reached out with help finding a pair and I haven’t responded, email or DM again! I would be honored to help you.
