Welcome to our living room reveal! Don’t those navy sofas have you dying/drooling???

To say that our formal living room got an upgrade, is probably, the understatement of all understatements. This is truly, the living room of my dreams. A dream room that I imagined in our dream home and I still, 2 years in, pinch myself every time I walk past it.

As with most living rooms, it doesn’t get used enough, but that might make me love it more. We sit here when friends come over for post dinner drinks, for date nights in, and after family holidays at our home. We call that mini “room” with the brown leather chairs “The Whiskey Tasting Room,” and love going here to chat and have a mini, cell phone free date at home {no nanny required!}.

I had the best Friday afternoon a couple of weeks ago, where I caught up on work, was waiting for Fernando to return from a business trip and was super into my book. I poured myself a huge glass of rose and went to enjoy the sunset and some quiet mommy time curled up on the navy sofa, while the kids napped and the house was quiet.

Living Room

Sofa : ours was custom but was modeled after this exact Navy Blue Sofa. One of the many benefits of working with a designer: I was able to fall in love with a sofa and she was able to get one custom made for our dimensions in matte hardware and the fabric of our choice.
