As I shared in my IG stories today, I placed quite the online workout clothing order yesterday. I’m one of those gross people who tends to stay in workout clothes all day. Yet, since getting the Peloton, and continuously sweating my face off, I have to change multiple times a day. This is even more of the case when I am #momming and getting back into homeschooling. Most days, I fit in a quick class in the morning and try to get a longer ride in in the afternoon while the kids are having quiet time.
Nevertheless, here is what I ordered this week. And, yes, I will do a try on when they all arrive in the next two weeks!
Sunday, July 5:
Mammoth Hike. We started as a family of four, pushing the Double Bob up the hill, up a cat walk, that was turned into a mountain biking/ hiking trail for summer. After time, each kid got in and we were moving at a snail’s pace. After about 30, with huffing and puffing due to the altitude, the kids and Fernando turned back, and I continued up the hill. I got all the way to the tree line and hiked a total of 4 miles. Going up took twice as much time as coming down.
Monday, July 6:
Hiking in Mammoth with my sister in law where we saw a bear! Hiked for about 30 minutes

Friday, July 10:
2 mile outdoor walk alone!
5 min walk run intervals on the treadmill for 30 minutes total. Since getting the Peloton, I haven’t been running outside as much as I would like. If you are new, or in cased you missed it, my outdoor run mileage has been a great bonus during quarantine. I love to run, and that you can do it anywhere. My confidence to complete these long runs is what was getting in the way, so I decided to try this interval to get used to running again. I’ve still gotten at least one outdoor run in a week, but I don’t think I would be able to get out there and crush 13 miles, like I did in May.
5 min walk/ 5 minute run, choose a speed and stick with it. Switch back and worth until 30 minutes has passed. Think of it this way: it is only running 3 times!
