We love Santa Barbara. We have family that lives there and we always find it easy to head there and the near by wine country. As this past weekend was my first off in {and for} a while, we took full advantage of my three days off.

I started with Friday at the Four Seasons Biltmore for High Tea with my grandmother. I am not a tea drinker, but it was gorgeous and I highly {haha!} recommend it! The Biltmore is one of my all time favorite places and it was a great start to the weekend.
Then we headed to the Bacara. As C magazine and Santa Barbara magazine are some of my favorite pool side reads, I have been seeing the Bacara’s amazing photos in there for years. Let me tell you: it did not disappoint.

I feel very lucky to have been to two amazing places in one long weekend and I can’t wait to go back. {we have already started planning for a family weekend in October for our multiple birthdays}.

    Oh my, what a fabulous weekend! It looks so exotic! So far removed from the architecture and lifestyle we're used to down here in Adelaide! Hunter, you must embrace tea!!!! There is nothing more special than sharing a pot with your Granny. Start with something like a Lady Grey, it's lovely and fragrant and feels very ladylike xoxox

    Great pics! I love this area (grew up about an hour outside of Santa Barbara) – The Biltmore is wonderful. Hopefully you spent a little time in Montecito (the clothing boutiques are great!) 🙂 xo
