Last year, about this time, I stumbled upon a photo of Venice, Italy in winter and quickly planned a tentative trip with the Mister. While I have been lucky enough to live in Italy as well as visit the mystical city many times, my husband and I thought it would be a fun time of year to plan a trip. With minimal tourists and a different perspective covered in snow, Venice in winter is still high on my wish list.
